Chocolate-Mint Cookies... Glorious.

  • 1 Stick (1/2 Cup) Butter, Softened
  • 3/4 Cup (Packed) Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
Cream the butter & brown sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Add the egg & peppermint extract, & beat until combined.

Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, & salt together in a second bowl, mixing well. Then add the dry mixture to the wet stuff & mix some moreeeee...

Add the chocolate chips, scraping the bottom of the bowl to make sure everything is evenly blended!

Put spoonfuls of dough (a couple of inches apart) on a greased cookie sheet & bake 8 to 10 minutes, at 375 degrees.

Once cookies are done, be sure to immediately remove the cookies onto a wire cooling rack & enjoy with a tall glass of milk :o)


  1. Oh my, I confess I just saw this recipe. I will be trying is my absolute favorite. Well chocolate too. duh!! lol
