Iced Coffeeeeeeee! :))

Am I the only one who can hear the angels singing?
  • 1 pound Ground Coffee (good, Rich Roast)
  • 8 quarts cold water
  • Half-and-half (healthy splash per serving)
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk (2-3 T. per serving)
Note: You can use Skim Milk, 2% Milk, Whole Milk, sugar, artificial sweeteners, syrups.. just adapt to your liking!
This recipe makes a ton of coffee, so you can always halve or.. halve again, if this is your first time & you aren't sure you'll like it.
In a large container (Sam's Club has 12 qt. containers that work well), mix ground coffee with water. Cover & allow to sit at room temperature for 8 hours, or overnight.
Line a fine mesh strainer with 3 layers of cheesecloth & set over a pitcher, or other container. Pour coffee/water mixture through the strainer, allowing all liquid to run through.. be patient people. Discard grounds. Then place coffee liquid in the fridge & allow to cool. Use as needed.
To make iced coffee, pack a glass full of ice cubes*. Fill glass 2/3 full with coffee liquid. Add healthy splash of half-and-half, or other milk, & add 2-3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk, or other sweetener, & stir to combine. Taste & adjust half-and-half and/or sweetened condensed milk as needed.
Iced Coffee should be frigid! Not sorta, pretty cold. That's why it's ICED Coffee.

*You can make coffee ice cubes so your iced coffee doesn't get deluted.
